Manjula Thakur is the Founder of the Avyansh Welfare Society. This organization strives to achieve equality in society by giving equal opportunities to mentally ill patients and providing them with the training and therapy to coexist in the environment.
Manjula is a renowned social entrepreneur who devoted her whole career to addressing social issues such as women empowerment, mental health education, family counseling and education, and the LGBTQ group's health issues.
Before Avyansh, Manjula has worked with SEWA, Gandhi Bhawan, for II years. She worked and led projects on microfinancing, violence against women project, and family counseling. .
Outside Avyansh, Manjula loves to write poetry and actively participate in Hindi Lekh Sangh. She enjoys training kids about theatre and the art of expression since she is a seasoned actress herself. She has been awarded as the Best Actress in Comic Role in a Theatre fest in Gurgaon.
Manjula holds a Master's degree in Phycology, Hindi Literature, and Sociology. MPhil in Industrial Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Community, and Health Psychology.
Bharti Bais did her diploma in mental retardation 1992-1993• Worked as a special educator in Indore 1994, Did her Masters of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Barkatulla University Bhopal in the year 2014 Special B.Ed in Mental Retardation from Bhoj University Bhopal in the year 2005
From 2000 she started working as a special educator in Roy Institue of Mental Health and Elite Science (RIMHES). A rehab centre for mental illness and a person with a special disability.
She's been working in this field of Mental health for the past 20 years.
All these years of working in the field of mental health have helped her gained unique insight.
